My plan was to come up with a table or list of all the basic things
you would want a package to do, and then use that to list how easy and
obvious it is to achieve each of those items in each package, so the
comparisons would be reasonably fair. It would also highlight what
areas in each package need improvement.
Such a summary table might make an good basis for a print article.
